Puppy got groomed!
First visit to groomer for pup. I took her there last week to meet people and so I could see the place. Neat and clean. Staff is very friendly. Said she is to young for full groom. Said pup needs to be able to stand still for one hour. Pup can't stand still for 30 seconds. Anyway, groomer said she will work with her to get her used to it slowly so she's not scared. She went for first time today. Came back beautiful and with a cute bandanna.

Potato chips with a kick!
Shopping at a warehouse grocery store I came across a bag of chips called. California Earthquake chips. Well funny as it seems the reason I was there was to purchase non perishable foods for our earthquake kit. So I thought it was funny. And I bought them.
We had hot dogs for lunch and the earthquake chips. Phrew! Sweet, sour, spicy. Now there is a story about how they came up with the flavor. Take a look at the pictures.

Strep throat sucks..
Well after 2 doctors appointments, a lab visit for 3 throat cultures and too much money. The news is in. We have strep throat.
My boys and I that is. Hubby is fine as of yet. Hope he doesn't get it.
Can't swallow, weak from not eating, tummy sore, killer head ache and sore throat. Temp of 102.7 for me and 101.7 for boys.
Doc said to replace our tooth brushes now and at end of antibiotic.
Hope it doesn't take to long to feel better. Have my moms birthday party Sunday.
So yea I'm broke now! LOL

Autism and Valentines Day
My son has been looking forward to Valentines Day for 2 weeks now.
He enjoys getting candy from me. Yet this morning he was very upright about going to school on Valentines Day.
He's looking forward to his favorite dinner, mac and cheese with hot dogs and sweet tea.
He's a freshmen in high school. Doesn't have a girl friend. But let me add neither do his friends. So that's not the trouble.
The trouble is the uncertainty of the day. Anything could happen. And if anything deviates from his normal schedule he gets uptight.

Police chase
I have always been amazed by people that run from the police. Watching a chase on ktla right now.
Person made an unsafe lane change 45 minutes ago on the 170 freeway. They think its a stolen vehicle.
Do people that run from police really think they can get away? I mean seriously!
Now their talking about pitting the truck. Person is just driving around in circles.
The truck just turned into a neighborhood. They won't do pit manuver in there. Have to be on main street. Their in the silver lake area.
An hour into it they pitted the truck. Stand off now.
Truck moving forward towards police. Ohh!! Guy just jumped out his window. Police have him.
